An IPC recognised certification (CID/CID+) and/or knowledge of IPC standards will be an advantage. Knowledge of other CAD tools such as Mentor Xpedition (xDX, xPCB and xDM) and PADS would be advantageous.We would like you to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Schematic entry and PCB layout best practices.Knowledge of production engineering and surface mount PCB assembly, including fine-pitched components, BGAs, PCB construction, via technologies and small passives would be advantageous.Ideally you should have a qualification in electronic engineering, e.g.
